So, I was in contact with one of my Professor's assistants about work schedule, and lucky me, I get to work Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, the only times I had left free within my class schedule. C'est la vie. They do say that people who work do better academically. I guess. So my schedule starts 10:15 every morning except for Fridays and ends either 4:30 to 4:45 every day. I just wish they didn't stop the regular bus schedule at 5:47. Damn Rutgers. If I think about it, it's no so bad compared to how busy people are during the regular school year, but it's my summer. Oh well I'll just deal. So I really enjoy my Jazz Rock Folk and Pop class. It doesn't just discuss music, but social, historical and probably soon political ideas that correlate with music. It's realy interesting. It sometimes ties in with what I learned in other classes. The professor is really cool and makes his little funny jokes or comments. I successfully changed my username! Hurray! My old username used to be Gr8dances2nite.blogspot.com and I used to think it looked all cool with the numerical spellings and spelling "night" wrong, but I now I think it seems retarded, so changed it to a correct spelling. Yay!Sometimes I feel like the world is moving on without me. By that I mean, I feel like everyone else is enjoying everyone else's company by what I observe aka stalk on facebook. I'm here in my corner just doing work. I was so excited before earlier in the summer with so many people I know that are going to be around the area, but now I feel like I won't see as many people due to my schedule. The Tarot Cards didn't lie. In my 3 month reading that I recorded, I received the Devil card for the beginning of June. The Devil card represents the negative side of the Lovers, or it means working many hours, feeling restricted, and stubborness or unwillingness to accept/change a situation. However, the shackles that tie the people down in the card are loose, so that does mean I have the capacity to handle or have the power within myself to control the situation you can say. Like all mediums of these category, they're not set in stone but at the same time they can be eerily true if done accurately. It's midnight now so I should stop procrastinating the work I wasn't really doing and head to bed.
So apparantly, blogger has changed to google, and now that I have a gmail account I was able to successfully claim my blog. Woohoo! Now that I'm looking at it, I don't like how my username is spelled, but I don't know how to change that. Right now, I finished junior year at school, summertime is here and senior year is coming up this fall! How did that happen? Time flies. Right now I'm taking 2 summer classes and will be working with Professor Elias in his Social and Emotional Learning Lab, so that should be something. So many people that I know are going to be in New Brunswick this summer. I'm so excited! I wish I could drive though so I could get out whenever, but I'll deal with the bus. Besides, I need to focus on a number of things right now. On another note, I was on TRL in the studio audience this past summer! My old boyfriend tape recorded it for me since I couldn't see it because I don't have MTV, and another friend of mine texted me saying he totally saw me on TV! Exciting! It's so wierd, I don't even pay attention to MTV that much anymore. I was talking to someone who graduated and said that she doesn't either. It's interesting since she the girl who said that is 24, and apparantly when we went into the studios, we heard that people in the age range of 16-23 are allowed in. If you're 24 or older, you can't go in and be part of the studio audience. Crazy! We're all getting old! Stacy and the other girl who were 23, just made the age cutoff! The experience in general was something. It was very quick, and exciting when Damien the host would be a couple feet away hosting in front of the camera. Only thing is that you'd think he'd be more interactive with the audience. He's so..plain! There were also times when he went in and out of the studio audience during commercials. Wierd. I think if Carson Daly was there he'd be more personable and interactive, you know? That's when the show was at it's height, the days of Carson and the 'N Sync/Backstreet Boys phenomenon. It was cool though going in and seeing it for ourselves. Afterwards we ate at Joshua Tree and then went inside the Toy's 'R Us in Times Square. It's so amazing! The Barbieland, Candyland, giant ferris wheel. Well, I didn't ride the ferris wheel, but perhaps next time. I hope this will be a good summer. By the way, does anyone know how I can change my username and retain the same blog/blog entries?
